On October 2, I broke my right shoulder during a Fitbit walk. I’m right-handed, so this impacts all my keyboarding activities. Sorry, folks, but I won’t be blogging for a while.

Thanks, James.
I went thru a similar thing last year with severe carpal tunnel issues and surgeries on both hands the same day, losing feeling and sensitivity in both hands for nearly a year last year followed by rotator cuff surgery on my right shoulder four months later, so know how you feel. Best wishes and speedy recovery, Kathy!
Thanks, James. I hope you’re 100% now.

Stupid FitBit walks! xxx
Thanks, Martha. Stupid unexpected 2-inch rise in flat sidewalk.
Get well soon!
Thanks, Desiree.
Have a speedy recovery.
When I had shoulder surgery on my right shoulder, I used dragon speaking naturally. It wasn’t perfect but was 85% on the spot. This was years ago, I assume using voice to typing is better now and might be a solution for you.
Thanks, Z. I tried it a while back, but it isn’t suitable for the types of posts I create. 🙁
Take care and enjoy the break. Oops, excuse my choice of words.
❤️
Thanks, Eamon.
So sorry to hear of your bad news. Take care of yourself and be patient with the healing! Lakota

Does this mean we can look forward to a new word list? 1001 ways to say “ARGH”, or “these pain meds stink, where’s’s my martini?” Get better Kathy.
😉 Maybe … Thanks for the ideas, Tom.
Just get well soon.
We’ll still be here.
Thanks, Burton.
Hope you recover quickly!
Thanks, Hermina.
All the best, and get better fast!
Thanks, Tom.
Eeek! So sorry to hear. We can be patient – you need to take extra care of that shoulder. Do NOT come back until it is properly healed.
Then you can tell us the details – I doubt I’d forget them if I were you. Bummer.
Thanks, Alicia.
Oh, no! Hope you heal quickly. Love your posts.
Thanks, Linda.
