Time to Share Your Free Stories of Winter or the Festive Season

2023 is almost over.

Whether you observe Christmas, Hanukkah, Kwanzaa, Las Posadas, or another celebration during this festive season, I invite you to share links to your free family-friendly stories and poems.

  • They can be about snow, winter (including winter sports and activities), or the festive season itself.
  • They can be written by you or another author, living or dead.
  • Of course those of you in the Southern Hemisphere don’t have snow, and I’d like to hear from you, too. How do you spend December and January?

Here are a few links to get the snowballs or skateboards rolling and the reindeer or kangaroos dancing.

  1. This is a lovely, Christmassy gift – thank you!
Being a Brit, I’m familiar with the Conan Doyle and the Scandinavian stories. However, I look forward to reading the rest in the Christmas Hall of Fame when I can make time – a most welcome pleasure during the season’s busyness.
Unfortunately, I have nothing to share!
But, I will take the opportunity to thank you for all of the regular guidance you send to keep us on the grammatical/literary straight and narrow, and wish you and yours a Very Merry Christmas and Successful New Year.
    Zara.

      • Hi Kathy, I’d be interested to hear if “Irish wit” is appreciated/understood by readers from differing backgrounds. Hopefully, they will enjoy this piece.

        Take care,

        Eamon

        • I think that, in context, people will understand. All the best for the remainder of the month and best wishes for a fantastic 2024!

Christmas River Ghost by Paula Cappa
