Congrats to you, Kathy! Your website is a valuable resource!
Thanks, Felicia! And thanks for your shares on Twitter.
Hi Kathy, A very Happy and Healthy New Year and congratulations. It’s thoroughly deserved. I love reading your work. So entertaining and informative. I might be nearly 88, but I still get a kick out of learning and writing….(I am, in fact, thinking of glueing my feet to my perch…) I’m writing a book about a Jewish family (during and after WW11) Workng title “The Dombrowskis”. I’ve finished two thirds – some of it, understandably, a bit sombre and heavy (don’t worry I also love humour…) In the last part, I deal with the sale of a recovered painting owned by The grand-daughter of an art restorer murdered by the nazis, plus the discovery of an invoice for a missing painting he owned. I know that several Jewish people had various artifacts. etc., stolen which were later recovered through a site in Holland, but need to read up up relevant info. Do you know of any on-line info I could read? I would be most grateful for even a snippet of information. Many thanks Best wishes. Joy Lennick
Thanks, Joy!
For this type of research, you might find something on the History channel.
Here’s a link that might steer you in the right direction: https://www.history.com/news/nazi-stolen-art-identified
I don’t recommend Wikipedia as a quotable source, but their references are often valuable: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nazi_plunder
Please let me know if you find anything useful.
All the best for 2020!
And good luck with your book.
Congratulations, Kathy. yes, it is a great site.
Thanks, Pamela! I hope that you and yours are safe amidst the fires and smoke.
Thank you for concern. I live up on the north coast of NSW near Ballina and all is well here. But not so for others living down south. God only know when it will end, as we have lost thousands of our beautiful flora and fauna..
Latest media reports say 1 billion animals. 🙁
Well deserved, Kathy. I refer to your site regularly. It’s been a great help.
Wishing you continued success,
Eamon
Thanks, Eamon! If there’s ever a topic you’d like me to research, please let me know.

Congratulations Kathy, You have been inspirational in my writing career. I’m halfway through writing my first romantic comedy novel; only another 50,000 words to write!
Before finding your site and purchasing your books I wrote as an amateur but now I am creative, have learnt how to set a scene and view the world in a different light.
Thanks, Jenny. I wish you speedy progress and much success with your romantic comedy novel!
Well deserved!
